How can I copy my owned DVD collection to my computer, then what do I do to put it into my iPod Classic? I need it in good quality also. Any trustworthy and good software I can use (That is FREE and EASY to use)? Any tips/advice?

DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, are 2 of them, DVD Shrink probably the easiest to use. Go to http://www.mrbass.org for stuff about them and then go to http://www.completelyfreesoftware.com for the other stuff you will need, and also check http://www.cnet.com and then Downloads for other good free software, I like cnet because it is very good reputation about what software it will host for downloading.

You just need to convert your DVD movie or video to mp4 video, and then you can drag the mp4 video into your iTunes library. Plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect the iPod automatically, then click iTunes menu "File -> Sync iPod", that’s all. If you need details, here is a step by step guide would help you a lot, it’s easy to understand and works pretty well for me

I don’t know good free software can rip DVD to iPod, I am using an inexpensive software RZ DVD Ripper, it can rip video DVD to any videos or audios, the best video format for iPod is mp4(AVC/H.264 video encode, AAC audio encode) video, with RZ DVD Ripper, you can easy rip video DVD to the best iPod mp4 videos, then you can add the ripped mp4 videos into iTunes and sync to your iPod. you can google search and download rz dvd ripper, easy to use, good quality, if you don’t know how to do, you can contact me or keep asking in yahoo answer, i am online everyday, hope my info can help you!
