The kids dont care and they smoke weed right on campus. The profs are very leniet ( the kids dont wanna learn, the prof is not going to teach) As for living in the city. Go on craigslist and find a roomate. I mean almost everywhere is pretty easy to commute to Manhattan cause they are a lot of buses and train transfers. did you say BMCC?

Most do, unless you're going to NYU, or Columbia. Anyway, you're better off living in the outer boroughs like Brooklyn or Queens. Rents are cheaper and close to the city. If you still want to live in the city, then the east village and uptown are the places to live for "cheaper" rents but still on the high side compared to the boroughs.
