Should I fire my lawyer? I have a lawyer who is handling my no-fault car accident lawsuit in Brooklyn,?
New York. Every time I call him with a question he is very dismissive and in a rush, and barely lets me finish talking before hanging up.
I am getting fed up with the arrogance, and I am wondering:1) Why do personal injury and car accident lawyers act as if they are doing ME a favor by handling my claim? Am I missing something here?
2) The only reason I have not fired him and gotten another lawyer is because a)most lawyers act alike, anyway, so there would be no point in switching. b)This man has had my case for three years now, and I don’t want to go through the hassle of finding another lawyer and dealing with new paperwork.

Do I need a lawyer if someone caused an auto accident but I was not injured?
I was recently in an auto accident caused by someone else running a red light. I plowed into them as I went into the intersection. It was my first accident and there were a few things I failed to do at the scene, but the authorities pretty much handled all the info. I also did notify my insurance company right away. Anyway, the other party was very quick to argue that I ran the red light and said she was injured and was hauled off in an ambulance. She wouldn’t even talk to me except to argue that it was my fault and rolled up her window. I also believe she was on her cell when she ran it, but can’t prove it or anything, except that it was already up to her ear after the impact. The other thing that stinks is that all the people sitting in their cars at HER red light she ran never stuck around as witnesses. I did have a passenger in my car who does agree my light was green. Anyway, I wasn’t hurt, the front end of my car is wrecked and now leaking oil. I wasn’t at fault and am afraid that, without witnesses and because she was injured, she’s going to come after me in a "he said, she said" battle. Do I need a lawyer? Every time I search for car accident lawyers they always come back with "personal injury attorneys". I am not injured, so what do I do?
There is no police report as of yet and no one got cited at the scene. People I spoke to about the citation thing were confused as to why no one got cited (and being my 1st accident I wouldn’t know either), but one person told me it was possibly because the police have a way of checking to see who was at fault. Possibly with cameras at the intersection? I nor my passenger didn’t notice any there though. -
Can I fire my car accident lawyer………..? I get nothing out of the settlement….!?
Any lawyers out there please answer……….So I was in a car accident two years ago….not my fault…..Medical bills add up to 3300. insurance co. is offering a settlement of 2500. The 1000 dollar deductible from my insurance company has to be paid too for medical bills and that’s my responsibility….It looks like I’m getting nothing! all the physical therapy I went through….and nothing! No fair…What can I do? Can I fire my lawyer and take the 2500 and try to make payments to my lawyer for fees monthly or later ……..Please Help

Should I hire a auto accident lawyer?
Yesterday I was involved in a 5 vehicle auto accident. I was waiting at the stop light to turn left and a truck and a motorcycle collided in the intersection. The motorcycist flew up in the air and landed funny. The truck kept going and I noticed how fast it was going towards me. It hit my car head on and pushed my car back about 1.5 car lengths in a 90 degree angle. The truck bulldozed into a nissian truck and GMC Yukon. Obviously from the photos, it proves that he was going at a fast pace because of the damage and for pushing a still object that far.
The motorcycist may have passed away and crime scene detectives arrived to photograph the area. The road was closed and traffic was detered. My car suffered extensive frontal damage and my radiator was cracked in half. I suffered no fractures, but I am very sore today. I went to urgent care and the doctor told me to see my PCP to have her review if I should see physical therapy.
My friend suggested a lawyer because the accident could be manslaughter and because one party hit 4 different cars. I believe my car is totaled and I will be sore for a while. To this extent, should I hire a lawyer because of the occurance and because the driver at fault’s insurance might try to screw me over because they have to pay for 4 parties cars, and maybe a wrongful death suit.
If so, would the lawyer make sure I get compensated well for my totaled car? I know this is going to be a huge inconvenience.
It wasn’t about making a profit, I am worried that I will lose out on a car or not get paid enough to purchase a new one. I just bought it 2 years ago. -

I saw a commercial stating that you can get an advance on your settlement if the lawyer feels you have a winning case. Does anybody know the name of the company? I live in arizona and t boned a kid who ran a red light. My airbags didn’t go off either. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!!!
