Should I get a personal injury lawyer involved?
I was in a 4-car pile up a month ago. I was the 2nd car from the front and received 2 rear impacts and either 1 or 2 front impacts. Because my car and the car infront of me were stopped it was declared that we were not at fault. So now the 2 insurance companies of the vehicles behind me are fighting over who is to blame. Meanwhile I received a possible fracture to my wrist, 2 herniated disks in my lower back and neck injuries. I’m not really into getting a lawyer, but now I feel like it’s getting complicated since they haven’t even decided who’s to blame. Then I have others saying that I shouldn’t have to be paying any part of my medical…. but what do i do when I can’t even settle until I’m done with treatment? Any advice on this would be helpful. If any of you have settled with or without a lawyer I would love any advice you can give. I do have PIP insurance, but it has a cap. Thank you.

How much can I make from an injury law suit?
Recently I was hit by a car. My leg and arm were broken and I had to get 22 stitches. I have hired an injury lawyer and have a witness who is speaking on my behalf. It is the fault of the driver that I was hit. How much, on average, would I earn if things worked in my favor? Would I recieve coverage for my medical bills and wages I have lost from not working?

Can a personal Injury Lawyer get the info about a person’s auto policy amount after an accident?
I was in an auto accident and hired a lawyer to represent me. The insurance companies are (mine & the other motorist) are investgating in order to determine who is at fault… Meanwhile, I’m asking my attorney to see if the other motorist has full coverage, liability, etc… so I can have an idea as to how things are going to play themselves out in regards to my medical bills, and other compensation, etc… The attorney claims that he can’t get the details of the other motorist’s insurance policy to answer my questions. This doesn’t sound right to me. Shouldn’t he, not only be able to obtain their policy, but be working diligently, early on in the process, to obtain this information so he can guage the "possible" compensation that, not only myself, but the docter & himself (the lawyer) may receive? …my injury is a life altering injury and I need to know what options I have in regards to my medical & all other compensation I may be entitled to. I am not the type to blindly allow my lawyer to do as he chooses, while I remain in the dark as to the facts regarding my situation. Please enlighten me…

How can you be concerned with health care costs and vote for an injury lawyer?
The USA is the ONLY country in the world that does not use the English court system where civil trials are settled by the losing party paying the legal expenses to the winning party. This means if you are sued in a frivolous law suit, the plaintiff has to reimburse you for the horrendous damage they did by filing a frivolous law suit.
Guess what? Only the USA is constipated with more trials and law suits, way beyond our capacity. Our entire lives are so litigous, everyone is worried about law suits, in every facet of our lives.
The country desparately needs tort reform and John Edwards, the trial lawyer predator, is running for President & he has the gall to scream about health care costs! Huh? Trial lawyers are an integral part of the problem. They cause health care cost to sky-rocket.
If anyone had any commitment to curbing health care costs, injury lawyers would be included in the process.
Did anyone but me notice that Michael Moore gave trial lawyers a pass?

How do I find a non-trial, non-injury lawyer to help with insurance claims?
I am having a "reverse problem" with insurance. They aren’t trying to screw me, they are paying me too much, and I can’t make them stop.
I have a child with Autism and two insurance policies. I file claims and receive reimbursment checks.
I keep getting double-paid.
I’ve tried several times resolving this with customer service, to no avail.
This would be a good thing except one day, one of them will figure it out, and probably accuse me of insurance fraud.
For now, I’m saving all double-payments in a separate bank account for when they ask for the money back.
I need help to resolve this – I can call customer service until my face turns blue, it isn’t going to fix it. But, every time I search for insurance lawyers, I get injury lawyers. I want fee-for-service, to advise me what I should do, not a contingency lawyer to go after them.

This morning i was rear ended up by another person. Called the police and they did a report. The other driver was found at fault and given a ticket. I was asked by the police officer if i was hurt. I said i was not. About noon my neck became stiff and my back is aching pretty bad. I was advised to call an Personal injury lawyer. Let me get one thing straight. I am not in this for money. I do not want to sure for tons of money. Just the medical bills. so what should i do? contact a lawyer first and than deal with the ins company. thank you.

I just consulted the Church Oracle, who confirmed that my nephew would trip on a pencil left on the ground at the tech school he hates.
But the school lied to him telling him he would learn how to design creative structures, 3-D design, arts. But all they teach are all these equations, and long math classes. So he found out he was in the wrong major. But the fact was they did lie to him.
But he needs some money for this trip he’s planning to disney world to take a bunch of cousins.
We are planning on having an african festival to donate half the profits to charity, and the rest to disney.

Personal Injury lawyer not returning my call?
I was in a car accident in February that totalled my car and cost about ,300 in chiropractor bills. The settlement from the insurance company was ,000 (including the bill). I called a personal injury lawyer that was recommended to me. I met with him about 6 weeks ago. I’ve called him 6-7 times in the past few weeks to check on it and to see if he needed more info from me. I have only gotten to leave messages with the receptionist and his machine and he hasn’t called back. Should I be worried? I’m tempted to call and let the receptionist know that if I don’t hear from him in a day or two that I’m going to find another lawyer. Is this wise?
